I have to admit, Starfield‘s lore isn’t as tightly woven into the gameplay as it is in games like Detroit Become Human.

The cool thing is, you can totally ditch those mainline quests, hop in your starship, and explore planet after planet, all while having a blast with Bethesda’s role-playing game. But hey, that doesn’t mean there’s a lack of deep backstories and fascinating characters out there.

During my initial playthroughs, I found myself drawn to Andreja—she became my ultimate romance companion. But I also liked Sam’s honest and down-to-earth personality, especially with that contrasting tough-guy appearance of his. What I’m getting at is no matter where you venture into the galaxy, there’s always an intriguing character just waiting to have a chat with you.
