Quirk Generator: Find Your My Hero Academia Power

This My Hero Academia quirk generator uses 15 personality questions to match you with one of four original fictional powers for your own anime hero.

Quirk Generator

A quirk generator for your fictional hero

This unofficial entertainment quiz matches you with one of four predefined original powers inspired by My Hero Academia. It’s a fictional personality match, not an accurate assessment of who you are.

In My Hero Academia, a Quirk is a superhuman ability. A power might help someone fight, rescue people or handle a task that would otherwise need special equipment. The way a character uses that power gives you plenty to work with when you imagine your own hero.

Your match here is an original idea for that kind of character. If you’d prefer to find a familiar face whose personality fits yours, the My Hero Academia character quiz covers that question.

How this quiz works

You answer 15 personality questions about your choices and habits. Some ask about everyday situations, such as team projects or an afternoon with nothing planned. Others put you inside a fictional rescue drill or a supervised Quirk lesson.

Those situations give you different ways to describe yourself. In a blocked hallway, you might notice the stranded students first or start thinking about access. When a practice target breaks, your next move says something about how you handle a disrupted plan.

Choose the answer closest to what you’d actually do. You don’t need to pick the response that sounds most heroic. Your approach to a stubborn practice problem is useful here, too, even if your first instinct is to take a snack break.

What your result means

The four possible results are Golden Touch, Tripartite Knight, Handgun Hand and Switchskin. These are original powers for this quiz, rather than powers assigned to characters in the manga or anime.

Your result is a creative match based on your answers. You can use it as the starting point for an original character, often shortened to OC. It doesn’t measure your combat skill or tell you how strong you’d be in the My Hero Academia world.

Quirk types describe how powers work

My Hero Academia groups Quirks into three broad types. Emitter abilities produce or control effects, while Transformation abilities temporarily change the user’s body. Mutant abilities involve permanent bodily traits.

These categories describe a power’s mechanism. They don’t assign you a personality or decide which power is strongest. A ghostly knight summoned outside the user’s body, for example, isn’t a bodily transformation.

Turn your match into an original character

Start with what your power does in one clear sentence. Then give your character a reason to practice it. A rescue goal can lead to different training choices than a fighting goal.

  • Define the mechanism. Decide what activates the power and what it changes.
  • Choose a practical use. Explain how it helps in one specific situation.
  • Set a limitation, such as a short range or a fixed number of uses.
  • Add a drawback. Decide what using the ability costs your character.

A limitation sets a boundary; a drawback creates a cost. A power might reach only across a room, while repeated use leaves the character tired. Those details give you something concrete to work around in a training scene.
