What it can mean to like him
You might want a date with him, enjoy his compliments or feel drawn to his looks. Those feelings can overlap, and you don’t need to name them right away.
Nervousness and jealousy don’t establish attraction, and their absence doesn’t rule it out. You can feel calm around someone you want to date. You can also feel nervous because you’re unsure what he expects.
A useful place to start is what you enjoy about time together. Think about an ordinary afternoon as well as the moments you replay in your head.
How this quiz works
The 12 questions ask about your own feelings and preferences. You’ll consider what you’d miss if plans fell through, what you’d want from staying in touch and how an ordinary errand together might feel.
Your answers help compare four themes: romantic interest, enjoyment of attention, physical attraction and little or uncertain attraction. Questions about compliments explore the pull of attention, while questions about getting to know him explore your interest in him as a person.
Read your result as a starting point for reflection. This is an entertainment quiz, not a definitive assessment of your feelings. It doesn’t assume your gender or sexual orientation.
Different feelings can coexist, so more than one description may fit. If two descriptions feel equally close, you can leave that uncertainty open instead of forcing a choice.
What the four results mean
Romantic interest
Wanting to know his thoughts or spend ordinary time together may fit romantic interest. Consider which answers came from curiosity about him and which came from imagining a relationship.
Enjoying his attention
Compliments can feel good even while your interest in dating stays unclear. Ask yourself what you’d want to share with him during a hangout where neither of you was flirting.
Mainly physical attraction
You may feel drawn to his appearance or imagine physical closeness while knowing little about him. That feeling doesn’t obligate you to pursue a relationship or any physical contact.
Little or uncertain attraction
Some answers may suggest that you don’t want much beyond your current connection, or that you need more time to understand your feelings. You don’t owe anyone romantic interest, and uncertainty doesn’t need an immediate fix.
Choosing a next step at your pace
If you want more time together, you could suggest a casual hangout and give him room to decline. Respect any existing relationships and the boundaries you’ve both expressed.
If he doesn’t share your interest, accept his answer without trying to persuade him. You can take space if continued contact feels uncomfortable.
For questions about dating preferences, the compatibility quiz gives you another way to reflect on what you want in a relationship. You can also stay with the connection you have while you decide what feels comfortable.
