Quiz: What Sorority Should I Join? It Matters in 2022

If you ask yourself, “What sorority should I join?”,  This rush week simulator quiz reveals which chapter would recruit you for their chapter.

The Quiz That Finds the Best Sorority for You to Join

The following are 20 personality, lifestyle, and GPA questions to determine a fitting Greek Life organization for you.

Selecting the right sorority could be as challenging as deciding what to major in for some students. So, we created a step-by-step analytical test to help with the process.

Of course, the recruitment will depend on the chapters’ policies. But the results give you an idea of what to expect during the rush events.

The sorority quiz helps you:

Choose based on values.

Each house has unique standards and etiquettes. And with the 26 (inter)national women’s sororities to choose from, it could be challenging to find one that matches your values. However, the quiz does the hard work and leaves you with a few options based on your expectations.

Delta Gamma Do Good
Phi Mu The Faithful Sisters
Alpha Delta Pi We Live For Each Other
Alpha Kappa Alpha By Culture and By Merit
Chi Omega Sisters on purpose

Compare the dues.

Our quiz includes an index of all organizations’ average dues.

According to Withfrank.org, the membership fees range from $600 to $6,000 per semester. So, you should consider the expenses before deciding what sorority to join.

Find the perfect chapter.

The premise of the test is to answer questions like, “What sorority should I join?” It does so by comparing your needs and expectations to the constitutions and mottos of NPC chapters.

So, you’re guaranteed to find and join the perfect house.

How to Know Which Sorority You Should Join

Members of collegiate Greek Organizations connect with other students, learn skills, and volunteer in the community. But how do you join one to benefit from all that?

Here are the 5 steps you need to take to be recruited by a sorority.

#1. Specify your goals.

Ask yourself, “Why do I want to join a sorority?” Ideally, write down five reasons before choosing any organization or chapter. Specified goals narrow down your choices and leave you with a manageable list of houses that stack up to your expectations.

#2. Become a rushee.

Most sororities hold free events called rushes to recruit new members. It’s mostly a semi-formal process where the recruiters talk to you to see if you fit their house. But it’s also an opportunity for you to get to know their staff, values, codes, and sisterhood.

#3. Study organizations’ history.

The oldest Greek Life org. was established in 1775 in the US. And most sororities are equally old. So, it’s a good idea to research your favorite house’s background before joining them. Look for the reasons the house was established in the first place and see if you relate to their motives.

#4. Read the constitutions.

You can download the PDF version of a sorority’s constitution online—except for the secret-society types. Reading the constitution can determine if a particular Greek Life org. suits your personality or not. Dig deep into their policies and standards before making any decisions. Otherwise, you might regret your decision as soon as initiation.

#5. Consult a sorority advisor.

As mentioned on New York Post, a rush consultant can help you with choosing the best sorority to join. These people are often former or alumna members of Greek organizations that are familiar with the recruitment processes. The only drawback is the cost, though. (They might charge you up to $1,500).

Should You Join a Sorority, though?

If you cannot afford the dues, don’t have enough time to dedicate to the community, and are afraid of the stigma around NPC organizations, you should not join a sorority house.

However, if you want to connect to people, volunteer in community services, and have the support of alumnae, joining a collegiate Greek Life house is a good idea.

Two Things to Know Before Taking the Sorority Quiz

You are almost ready for a rush simulator. But we want you to know that:

It’s a woman-only test.

Guys need to take a fraternity quiz to discover their ideal Greek Life house. The sorority quiz on this page covers girls who want to join sisterhood sororities and does not include the brotherhood houses’ index.

It’s an independent questionnaire.

QuizExpo is not associated with any organizations mentioned on the sorority quiz. It’s an independent test to help you choose the best college sorority to join. And the results are not biased towards any of the houses or chapters.

QuizExpo does not endorse any sorority’s actions, policies, or constitution. You should research the organization you join regardless of the quiz results.

How to Play?

Playing personality quizzes is straightforward: Choose the option that’s true about you—or you relate to—and select “Next.” Unlike trivia quizzes, personality tests have no right or wrong answers. But the questions are in forced-choice format. The point is to push you to choose an option that makes the most sense, not the one that’s 100% true. For the most accurate results, don’t overthink your responses. Go with options that you “feel” are the best.
