The Premier League (often referred to as the English Premier League (EPL) outside the UK) is the highest level of the English football league system. In 1990, Greg Dyke, executive director of London Weekend Television (LWT), met with representatives of the "big five" football clubs in England (Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, and Arsenal). At the close of the 1991 season, a proposal was made to establish a new league that would make more money for the game. The founding member's agreement, signed on July 17, 1991, by top clubs, created the basic principles for launching the English Premier League, so it had founded at ‎20 February 1992.

Premier League teams

There are 20 clubs in the Premier League. These are Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Norwich City, Sheffield United, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Watford, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers. Among these, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal are best teams in the Premier League.

Chelsea was founded in 1905 and won over thirty competition awards, including six top-flight titles, 8 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, 2 UEFA Europa Leagues, 2 UEFA Cup Winners' Cups, 1 UEFA Champions League, and 1 UEFA Super Cup. They won their first European honor, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, in 1971. Chelsea's home kit colors are dark blue shirts and shorts with white socks. In terms of club value, Chelsea is the world's seventh most valuable football club. Chelsea has only one home ground, the Stamford Bridge, where they have played since the formation of this team. They have the sixth average of full-time presence English football and regularly attract over 40,000 fans to Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City was founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton) and entered the Football League in 1899 and won its first great honor in 1904 with the FA Cup. Manchester City's revenue was the fifth-best football club in the world in 2017–18 season. In 2019, they won four trophies, completing all the domestic trophies in the UK in an unprecedented manner and became the first British men's team to win the native treble. Manchester City's home colors are sky blue and white. The club's home is Manchester City Stadium, east of Manchester City, where it moved in 2003 and has been on Maine Road since 1923.

Arsenal was founded in October 1886. The Club has won 13 League titles, a record 13 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 15 FA Community Shields, 1 League Centenary Trophy, 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and 1 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. In most of Arsenal's history, although the house colors were bright red shirts with white sleeves and white shorts, this was not always the case. After considering various options, in 2000, Arsenal proposed to build a new stadium in Ashburton Grove with a capacity of 60,361 since it was called the Emirates Stadium, about 500 meters southwest of Highbury.

Best strikers: Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Sergio Agüero (Manchester City).

Best Forward: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Best midfielder: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

Harry Edward Kane was born in Walthamstow, London (28 July 1993). Kane firstly played at Ridgeway Rovers, a local club and joined the Arsenal Youth Academy at the age of eight. In July 2009, on his 16th birthday, he signed a scholarship contract with Tottenham. In 2017–18 season, Kane recorded his best campaign statistically, scored 41 goals in 48 games in all competitions, and was the champion of the UEFA Champions League the following season. In January 2019, he became Tottenham's fourth-best player of all time.

Sergio Leonel Agüero was born at 2 June 1988 in Argentine. On July 5, 2003, he became the youngest player in Argentine Primera División and broke the record set in 1976 by Diego Maradona. In July 2011, Agüero moved to the Premier League club Manchester City. Agüero is currently the 6th highest scorer in the history of Premier League, and the highest non-European goal scorer in the history of Premier League.

Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly was born at 15 June 1992 in Nagrig, Basyoun, Egypt. He plays as a forward for Premier League club Liverpool and the Egypt national team. He is known as one of the best players in the world. He is popular for his finishing, dribbling, and speed. Salah started his career in 2010 in the Egyptian Premier League with Al Madwauloun at Cairo Club. Salah's performances appealed to Chelsea on the Premier League, and he joined the club in 2014. Salah would continue to break the Premier League goal record in 38 match seasons, after scoring 32 goals in 36 league games, he took Premier League Golden Boot. Furthermore, he won a number of awards including, PFA Players' Player of the Year, the FWA Footballer of the Year and the PFA Fans' Player of the Year.

Kevin De Bruyne was born at 28 June 1991 inDrongen, Ghent, Belgium. He plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City.  De Bruyne began his career in Genk, where he became a regular player when he won the 2010–11 Belgian Pro League. In 2016, he joined English club Manchester City. In 2017, he was named the world's fourth-best footballer by The Guardian. In four seasons with City, De Bruyne has played in over 170 matches and won two Premier League titles, three League Cups and one FA Cup. Also, De Bruyne was twice named Manchester City's Player of the Year in 2016 and 2018.
